Vintage last rites crucifix sick call cross

This vintage Last Rites/sick call cross is such an interesting find! Made to hang on a wall until the time when a priest must be called to attend to the sick and dying. Hidden inside the cross are all the tools needed for the sacrament- candles, cotton, and a bottle to hold Holy Water. A very nice piece with some age and wear, but so much history! DESCRIPTION
✦ Vintage wooden Last Rites Crucifix kit
✦ Includes a wooden crucifix that slides open to reveal 2 small candles, an empty glass Holy Water bottle, a piece of cotton wrapped in blue tissue baper, and a paper instruction sheet
✦ Cross has a dark reddish wood stain/varnish
✦ Contents are unused and in plastic packaging (unsealed).
✦ Bottle is glass with a plastic cap and meant to hold Holy Water. Bottle is empty and holy water is not included in kit
✦ Jesus is made of gold colored plastic.
✦ Ready to hang on wall
✦ Wear from age including scratches, dents, and chips in wood

✦ About 13.25 inches x 7.5 inches when closed

CONDITION
✦ Vintage condition with signs of age and wear. The wooden cross has some chips and scuffs and scratches in spots. See photos
✦ Back of cross has a chip at the top. It is not visible from the front when hung on wall. See photos.
✦ There are scratches and some chips around the hanging hole on back. See photos.
✦ Gold plastic Jesus has some paint wear and loss in spots
✦ Contents of kit are sold AS FOUND and AS IS. Candles are unused but plastic wrapping is old, discolored and ripped.
✦ Paper instruction sheet shows some discoloration from age
